This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.
We have an immediate opening for a full-time Patient Care Coordinator/ Medical Assistant to join our St. Petersburg, FL office. The schedule is Monday through Friday,7:00am-4:00pm with weekend and holiday rotations. How You'll Contribute We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for:
Responsibilities Include - Assists with the clinical care of fertility patients
- Provides patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions
- Provides pre and post op education
- Phlebotomy
- Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ families
- Works independently to assure the program goals are achieved
- Support and promote excellence in customer service
What You'll Bring The skills and education we need are:
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Phlebotomy experience needed
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow-through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications, accuracy and speed with data entry is required
- Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology
